We've been busy in the Hawks Library throughout November. We got some massive book orders in, with plenty more to come. Ms. Z and I have been primarily focused on the graphic novel section...specifically manga. We've had over 350 titles come in recently with another 300+ on the way.

Our seniors may remember when this was the only area with graphic novels. It now houses just our graphic fiction and nonfiction/biography sections.
The comic book anthologies (DC, Marvel, and indies) are now the first set of freestanding shelves.
Manga is now taking up an entire corner. You'll notice some gaps on the shelves. Those are spaces that we anticipate having filled in the next few weeks.
The revamped graphic novels section does not include our comic books, which are located by our magazine section. This has been a major undertaking over the past four years and the Hawks Library is dedicated to curating the highest quality collection that meets the interests and needs of all students.
