It's that time of the year again. Time to celebrate one of the most financially successful marketing gimmicks of our combined lifetimes. What started as a clever play on words has become an international phenomenon and birthed the creation of an unofficial holiday. I still prefer Free Comic Book Day, but I'm a tightwad.
You can join in the hysteria by coming down to the Hawks Library and checking out one of our many tomes of canonical Star Wars literature. Some of the books are based on movies and a lot of the content of episodes 7-9 was based on the books. In the words of Michael Scott, it's a "win-win-win" situation for all involved. Heck, I didn't even know we had this many Star Wars books:
And there is even more content to stoke the embers of every fan's heart if you head to the manga, graphic novels, and comics sections...but we only have so much display space.
